Gratitude & Mindset, Let's Get Real, Life is Worth Living For, Shining Moments (Weekly Gratitude & Reflection)
Shining Moments March 29th – April 4th, 2020
We FINALLY made it to APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was this March the longest or what? I’ve been focusing on what work I can get from the regularly scheduled full-time position and from UberEats. This post is smaller than usual, but there were still good moments! **I had some more computer issues – yay for mandatory, we’re-doing-this-NOW-you-have-no-option Windows updates haha** Shining Moments – Still able to work and get 20-25 hours – Still able to work UberEats and 99% of everyone is really nice or expressing thanks and gratitude. My tips have been pretty generous too! Friday was a VERY good night! – Saw some very adorable (very hard to resist touching!)…

Shining Moments February 16-22, 2020
We’re down to the last week of February – weren’t we all just watching the Super Bowl, enjoying chocolate and celebrating my birthday? I guess time flies when you are having fun! I was super focused on work this week (learning new things & getting new skills) and Mercury retrograde tried to interfere, but I was able to work through the hurdles. Shining Moments – Got to see/pet some very good bois and girls while doing UberEats – especially Pippa and Oliver (such cute names!) – Beginning to really develop my own groove at work and all the bosses are happy – Found, bought and received (much quicker than expected!)…

32 Birthdays & 32 things
So today marks the day I’ve been on this Earth for 32 years… How crazy right? **No one believes I’m 32, everyone guesses about 25-28. Guess I’m aging gracefully…like a fine wine… haha** This year, I wanted to do something special. My birthday (2/17) is always a weird time: – 3 days after Valentine’s Day (but yay for discounted candy!) – tax prep season – usually freaking cold – everyone is sick/getting over being sick So since it’s 2020 + something different + it’s another birthday + turning 32 (oddly inspired by 32 flavors of ice cream haha), I wanted to do a Birthday Year bucket list. I’ve been struggling…

Happy First Day of Summer!
Happy First Day of Summer everyone! It’s officially here! Today marks the LONGEST day of the year and the beginning of the fun in the sun days. Graduations are over, school is out and it’s hot, hot, hot! Here in Charleston, we’ve been in the upper 80s to high 90s since before Memorial Day in May, but these past 2 days have had heat indexes of about 107 – 110. Usually I create a Summer schedule with each day having its own theme (check out last year’s Summer post here) but this year I’ve picked out 100 activities of my own creation/thoughts (there are SO many bucket lists on Pinterest). I’ve…

May’s Reaching For the Stars
Happy May and welcome to this month’s edition of Reaching for the Stars! Where has the year gone? We’re already almost halfway there! It seems that FINALLY the US is getting Spring weather. While certainly not nearwhere as cold at the Midwest & Northeast, our weather here in Charleston has been all topsy – turvey. Only in the South can you be freezing in the morning & wrapped up in scarves and by lunch time the AC is on and we’re all trying to de-layer. As soon as I was ready to put away the heater, scarves and heavier blankets for airy sheets & shirts/dresses, Mother Nature decided to throw…

Fall Bucket List Challenge
Hey everyone, Happy 1st day of October! We’re still waiting for fall to truly arrive here in Charleston, but we had very nice weather yesterday. Still in the lower to mid 80s here, but that’s not stopping us from prepping for fall. We already have fall events lined up, the fair will be at the end of the month and pumpkin patches popping up everywhere. I’ve already been burning fall candles and wax melts and beginning to decorate our home. I’m SO ready for fall! Has Fall reached your area yet? Any leaves changing, fall festivals, football games? I’d love for you to share with me your pictures and fun…

Happy Fall Y’all!
It’s the first day of Fall! How exciting is that?! It’s gonna be a great season, I can just feel it! I’m so so so so so so so excited (can you tell?) Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season. It’s just so awesome! These are just some of my favorite things to enjoy about the season: The crispness of the air, the changing of bright colored flowers and trees to darker passionate red, shining gold and burnt orange leaves, the smell of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, doing some fall cleaning (or painting a room in the house), cooking and baking, Halloween and Thanksgiving, holiday decorating, cuddling up with my…
