Shining Moments February 16-22, 2020
We’re down to the last week of February – weren’t we all just watching the Super Bowl, enjoying chocolate and celebrating my birthday? I guess time flies when you are having fun! I was super focused on work this week (learning new things & getting new skills) and Mercury retrograde tried to interfere, but I was able to work through the hurdles. Shining Moments – Got to see/pet some very good bois and girls while doing UberEats – especially Pippa and Oliver (such cute names!) – Beginning to really develop my own groove at work and all the bosses are happy – Found, bought and received (much quicker than expected!)…

32 Birthdays & 32 things
So today marks the day I’ve been on this Earth for 32 years… How crazy right? **No one believes I’m 32, everyone guesses about 25-28. Guess I’m aging gracefully…like a fine wine… haha** This year, I wanted to do something special. My birthday (2/17) is always a weird time: – 3 days after Valentine’s Day (but yay for discounted candy!) – tax prep season – usually freaking cold – everyone is sick/getting over being sick So since it’s 2020 + something different + it’s another birthday + turning 32 (oddly inspired by 32 flavors of ice cream haha), I wanted to do a Birthday Year bucket list. I’ve been struggling…

Gratitude & Mindset, Let's Get Real, Life is Worth Living For, Shining Moments (Weekly Gratitude & Reflection)
Shining Moments February 2 – 8, 2020
Happy February! January is come and gone (good riddance) and a brand new month is here. February sure has had an interesting start to the month, so without further ado (and as always, in no particular order), here’s this week’s Shining Moments… Shining Moments – Working the new job and everyone has been so kind. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind and they have been so understanding and accommodating – I still can’t believe that I’ve officially become a Sales Coordinator – I’ve unlocked a new achievement on my life goals that I’ve been striving towards for quite some time now – On the way to work Friday,…

Gratitude & Mindset, Let's Get Real, Life is Worth Living For, Shining Moments (Weekly Gratitude & Reflection)
Shining Moments January 19th – 25th, 2020
Happy weekend everyone! Hope that your week, your January and your 2020 is going your way. This week was a little rough, lots of changes that happened. The biggest thing that happened this week was that I got into an accident. Cars were stopping and I feel the car in front of me stopped extremely quick and I unfortunately rear-ended her. Of course, this automatically makes me at fault – my 1st accident that I contributed in 17 years of driving (I’ve been driving since Sophmore year with Driver’s Ed in 2003) + it also was the 1st time I’ve had an airbag go off. So this week’s…

Shining Moments – January 12th – 18th, 2020
Can you believe we’re already halfway through January 2020? Weren’t we JUST watching the ball drop and celebrating a new year is here? This week was mostly about work (my full time job and Ubereats) and the stress regarding work was mostly about obtaining hours this week and the upcoming week. Even as a little stressful it was for me, I’m still in the practice of trying to find the silver lining in things. In no particular order, here goes! Shining Moments – Was able to secure a full weeks hours (40 hours, usually 5 shifts) in at work and only had to use up one vacation day – Have…

Gratitude & Mindset, Let's Get Real, Life is Worth Living For, Shining Moments (Weekly Gratitude & Reflection), Where's the Apple (Keep the Doctor away)
Shining Moments – January 1st to 11th, 2020
Hello everyone! I hope that your start to 2020 has been good despite some of the things happening in the world – Australia’s wildfires, Puerto Rico’s earthquakes, the questioning of will there be [pending] war between USA and Iran, the Taal volcano in the Philippines has erupted, and other business still pending from 2019. I myself just got over a sinus infection that I’m sure turned into Upper Respiratory infection back into a sinus infection and finally kicked out after 2 weeks. It’s been an…interesting…start to 2020 so far. Roaring 20’s indeed… Among the insanity of our lives and of the world, I feel that it is even more important…

Hello again! You might have seen last week where I suggested some apps if you had created some 2020 fitness goals. If you downloaded some of those or others (share in the comments which ones you chose!), then you’ll well on your way. As Lao Tzu, a Chinese philosopher said, “The Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” I am very proud of you for making the decision to move towards a healthier lifestyle. I know when I first started out, some of the lingo about body stats was difficult to comprehend at first. Of course, as new studies and new techniques come out, things don’t stay…
