June’s Reaching For the Stars
Happy June everyone! Can you believe we are already 5 months finished and almost halfway through the year?!?! It seems like we are just blowing by 2019. Since time is going so fast, it’s a good time to revisit goals made. There are some that I’m sure will not get accomplished this year, but that’s ok! May is usually a good month for me personally with reflection and new experiences or chapters in my life (college graduation, a few years ago I went on a special celebratory mountain cabin trip with close friends, music concerts and more). I had the full intention of taking May to reflect and create either…

Shining Moments – June 2018 (Week 1)
Hello everyone, I hope that you had another great week! It’s that time again for Shining Moments, a weekly gratitude overview and reflection. This week’s reflection is on the lost art of Thank You cards but first, this week’s gratitude/awesomeness: I got to spend time with my favorite two boys – we had a great time going to the park and playing bingo My aunt and uncle are on a cruise for 5 days and the pictures they’ve uploaded are beautiful! Got to see a gorgeous Great Dane while out doing UberEats delivery. Found out family is coming into town in early August – so stoked! Had an “informal/how…

Memorial Day
If you aren’t aware, May is Military Appreciation Month – from military children, to Armed Forces day/week, to Memorial Day. The last Monday in May is celebrated as Memorial Day, a day we honor those service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice and have fallen in the line of duty. Today especially, but also every day, I would like to thank every single service member who has sacrificed in order so that we (as a nation) doesn’t have to. Today I would like to thank them for giving me provision of the rights and freedoms that I have today whether or not I exercise them (another right and…

Happy First day of Fall!
Who else is so excited that Fall is now here?! Fall is DEFINITELY my fave season – cooler weather, the smells of spices and harvests, bonfires, sweaters, scarves and boots, s’mores, crisp and colorful change of leaves, open windows, candles, and wax melts burning, longer walks… I could go on forever. Fall can be a bittersweet thing. The year is beginning to end, we’re heading to into the last quarter of the year, the newness of the year has waned, the blossoms of Spring have come and gone, the passions of Summer have fizzled out and now we’re in the time of harvesting what we’ve experienced this year. Reaping what…
