Eat Drink and Be Merry, Gratitude & Mindset, Just Because/For Fun, Life is Worth Living For, Shining Moments (Weekly Gratitude & Reflection), Trust Me, I'm a Professional
Shining Moments: May 10th – 16th, 2020
What a week! Anybody else find that mid-month always seems so much busier/hectic? This week was busy, but it had a lot of nice moments. Check out this week’s Shining Moments and a delicious update to the 32 Things lists. Shining Moments – Still working (considered an essential) at the hotel – I have been given some new/added Sales responsibilities at work. Since I’ve been proving myself (and it’s been slower at the desk for check ins/outs), we’re advancing my responsibilities list and I have been given permission to go ahead and start reaching out to the prospects on the spreadsheet tracker that I made for my department. –…

Shining Moments April 26th – May 2nd, 2020
Goodbye April and Hello May! Wow, what a month! It certainly flew by – seems the even numbered months pass by while the odd numbered draaaaaaaaaaag on. I’m sure on Thursday/Friday you saw the [still funny] obligatory Justin Timberlake “It’s gonna be May” memes. It’s a tradition… {I’m also looking at you May 4th for May the Fourth Be with You} Shining Moments – Still working (considered an essential) at the hotel – I only went out Sunday this week for various reasons, but it was a VERY good night –I recently started to carry dog treats with me on my UberEats runs and I was able to give…

Shining Moments March 29th – April 4th, 2020
We FINALLY made it to APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was this March the longest or what? I’ve been focusing on what work I can get from the regularly scheduled full-time position and from UberEats. This post is smaller than usual, but there were still good moments! **I had some more computer issues – yay for mandatory, we’re-doing-this-NOW-you-have-no-option Windows updates haha** Shining Moments – Still able to work and get 20-25 hours – Still able to work UberEats and 99% of everyone is really nice or expressing thanks and gratitude. My tips have been pretty generous too! Friday was a VERY good night! – Saw some very adorable (very hard to resist touching!)…

Shining Moments: March 1st – 7th, 2020
Happy March everyone! I hope that the weather has been beautiful where you’re at. It’s been mostly raining and the temp keeps changing here, so some days it’s a nice rain and other days it’s just GROSS. This week I was really focused on being able to make rent, so unfortunately my eyes weren’t as perceptive to the Shining Moments around me.ย While I had my moments of being bummed about it, I also know that I would be creating undue anxiety on myself if I chose to focus on that. We all have our moments of ups and downs, that’s just called Lifeโข. I still found some good moments…

Shining Moments – Feb 23 – 29, 2020
Happy end of February and Happy beginning of March. January sure took its time, but February just FLEW on by! It’s time for another edition of Shining Moments, the weekly gratitude list. This week was my first complete week of doing Sales (mostly) on my own. Shining Moments – Last week I mentioned that I awesomely received a $100 Amazon gift card as a birthday/goodbye gift. Yay for Amazon shopping spree! It was hard to pick things that I wanted, but I was able to get Sarah Steckler‘s awesome Finding Your Way (allow me to rephrase, MANY awesome journals). I’ve been part of Sarah’s courses and followings and I always…

How to Not Freak Out with Money
Money, Money, Money. Say it 3 times and itโll appear in 48 hours right? What about that money tree? If youโre anything like me and any other average person, the words: money, budget, finance, investment, taxes all probably stress you the hell out. Honestly, the way things are these days, it should come as no surprise. This however, then means it comes to us to make sure that WE are responsible for OUR money and OURย actions regarding money. Money is NOT a bad thing. Itโs needed for daily stuff: water and electricity bills, gas for your car, the Starbucks coffee for your weekly friend date, actually going out on a…
