Hi everyone! What a month September has been, am I right?! Everyone is officially back to school The unofficial end of summer aka. Labor Day Hurricane Florence hitting North Carolina but affecting South Carolina and Virginia {and word is the remnants are possibly coming back around for a re-run) Fall is officially here (YES! Happy First day of Fall!
Who else is so excited that Fall is now here?! Fall is DEFINITELY my fave season – cooler weather, the smells of spices and harvests, bonfires, sweaters, scarves and boots, s’mores, crisp and colorful change of leaves, open windows, candles, and wax melts burning, longer walks… I could go on forever. Fall can be a bittersweet thing. The year is beginning to end, we’re heading to into the last quarter of the year, the newness of the year has waned, the blossoms of Spring have come and gone, the passions of Summer have fizzled out and now we’re in the time of harvesting what we’ve experienced this year. Hey everyone, I hope that you are having a great start to your September and your Labor Day if you’re in the US. Today is the unofficial end to the Summer. Where did the time go?! This summer went by super quick for me and my family as we had lots of changes! From May to Today, there have been 2 car accidents, 2 cars being called totalled by the insurance, other friends have been in accidents or their car has died aaaaaaaaaaaaand mine is on its last legs, there’s been a change of work (same place, different position), and training for said new position. Fall Bucket List Challenge
Hey everyone, Happy 1st day of October! We’re still waiting for fall to truly arrive here in Charleston, but we had very nice weather yesterday. Still in the lower to mid 80s here, but that’s not stopping us from prepping for fall. We already have fall events lined up, the fair will be at the end of the month and pumpkin patches popping up everywhere. It’s the first day of Fall! How exciting is that?! It’s gonna be a great season, I can just feel it! I’m so so so so so so so excited (can you tell?) Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season. It’s just so awesome! Happy September! Crazy how we’ve already gotten to September right?! Feels like the summer just started not too long ago and here we are with fall leaves going to be turning colors soon. I must say, I am so over this summer. It was insanely HOT this summer and even for Charleston, this summer was miserable and I’ve lived here my entire life. July alone had 22/31 days that were 95 above and heat indexes up to 117. Even this past weekend, we had Hurricane Hermine stop by and show us a visit here in Charleston.
