Happy Veteran’s Day!
Hey everyone and Happy Friday! This Friday is very special as it’s Veteran’s Day, a day where we remember and honor our Veterans, past and present. I believe that while we DEEP DOWN do support our troops, we tend to get caught up in our own lives and can sometimes forget about what a deep sacrifice our military has given. As they swear in, they are giving up their own identities, putting their current life on hold and the responsibilities that go along with being a “daily human.” They swear to God, their Branch, to Country. Happy 241st Birthday US Marine Corps!
Hey everyone, just wanting to wish the United States Marine Corps a very Happy 241st Birthday! Check out the Commandant’s Birthday message here. If you want to know more about the Marine Corps, check out my post back in May from Armed Forces week. The Marine Corps have been around since 1775 and are still going strong. Of course I am partial to the Corp as a Marine certainly stole my heart. I am thankful for him in so many ways, including all of his years in service. Memorial Day
Happy Memorial Day!!! Today we celebrate Memorial Day, part of Military Appreciation Month. It is celebrated on the last Monday in May, honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the American Dream and the right to Freedom: their lives. I know that I’ve done a lot of posts this month regarding Military Service. It is something that has always been close to my heart and now as a future USMC wife, it’s even closer to my heart!
