2019 Goals + January Goals
I hope that everyone has had a great start to the New Year! It’s already Day 5, can you believe it?! One of my goals is re-committing to writing blog posts again. I got wrapped up in personal things and I’ve been able to get some things finished up and other things off of my mind, so I’m ready to get focused on my Yearly Word: Roots. This might sound like an odd word, but this year is about starting from the beginning, focusing on the bottom up and re-growing. This year involves trimming back the tangles and unwanted items to be able to grow. It is also me wanting…

August 2018 – Reaching for The Stars
Happy first day of August! It’s time for this month’s edition of Reaching For the Stars, a monthly goal post. ( Who can believe school is almost here?! ) Let’s recap July’s goals: Really sit with the planner as I am readjusting to new hours: 3:30pm – 12am 5x a week (8 hrs + 30 min break) instead of varying times of 10 hour shifts 4x a week (AND getting schedule a week in advance vs the whole month in advance) Revisit, recreate and stick to new budgets since I’ll no longer have a commission check to have a cushion with. The difference between the raise I got and a normal…

July Goals – Reaching For The Stars
Happy first day of July! It’s time for this month’s edition of Reaching For the Stars, a monthly goal post. ( Who can believe this year is halfway over?! ) I don’t know about you, but this Summer has already been hot, hot hot!!! I’m talking about 95 with heat indexes up to 110-115 and it was only JUNE. Usually August is our hottest month here in Charleston, but I think we’re gonna have a contest for which is the hottest season this year. Let’s recap June’s goals: Continue the progress I’ve made for Crescent Moon & Stars – 10 posts (5 of those being the weekly gratitude/reflection, 1 Monthly goal post)…

September Goals (+ Late Summer Update)
Hey everyone, I hope that you are having a great start to your September and your Labor Day if you’re in the US. Today is the unofficial end to the Summer. Where did the time go?! This summer went by super quick for me and my family as we had lots of changes! From May to Today, there have been 2 car accidents, 2 cars being called totalled by the insurance, other friends have been in accidents or their car has died aaaaaaaaaaaaand mine is on its last legs, there’s been a change of work (same place, different position), and training for said new position. This year has been ALL about the…

Reflection for the 2017 New Year
As 2016 is ending (thank Goodness, I just can’t even!) and 2017 is about to start, it’s now the annual time for everyone to reflect on the good and perhaps even bittersweet moments of the year. Let’s jump right on in! I want you to take a journal that makes you happy and that you’ll want to write in and/or reflect on (or a plain notebook if that makes you happy!), some plain poster board (5 sheet pack for $1 at the Dollar Tree) or even this beautiful Gold Glitter Poster Board from Staples (only $3.99. I know! It’s GORGEOUS!) Starting off with Success To start off…

November Goals aka The Action Plan
Hey everyone and Happy November! Can’t believe Halloween is come and gone! What happened to October? Oh right, Hurricane Matthew, hotel clean up, guest and client and local city event make up days, daylight beginning to get shorter and shorter and yeah, Halloween. Time goes by when you’re having fun right? We’re down to the last 2 months of the year and in my opinion some of the busiest. There’s Daylight Savings Time on Sunday the 6th (don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour – Fall back into bed and enjoy that extra hour of sleep! I’m sure you need it just as much!), Election Day on the…
