June’s Reaching For the Stars
Happy June everyone! Can you believe we are already 5 months finished and almost halfway through the year?!?! It seems like we are just blowing by 2019. Since time is going so fast, it’s a good time to revisit goals made. There are some that I’m sure will not get accomplished this year, but that’s ok! May is usually a good month for me personally with reflection and new experiences or chapters in my life (college graduation, a few years ago I went on a special celebratory mountain cabin trip with close friends, music concerts and more). Happy Saturday everyone and Happy Armed Forces Day. Today marks a military holiday of the 3rd Saturday in May (which btw May is Military Month!), where we celebrate our active duty military forces. With Memorial Day right around the corner (where we celebrate our fallen forces), it’s easy to get mixed up. Happy Memorial Day!!! Today we celebrate Memorial Day, part of Military Appreciation Month. It is celebrated on the last Monday in May, honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the American Dream and the right to Freedom: their lives. I know that I’ve done a lot of posts this month regarding Military Service. It is something that has always been close to my heart and now as a future USMC wife, it’s even closer to my heart!
