Welcoming 2022 (Word of the Year, Goals & Intentions)
Happy New Year everyone! 2021 sure flew by and good riddance!!!!
Like the meme says:
But seriously. It’s been no cakewalk for anybody and straight up hell for some. Despite what category you find yourself in, I hope that you will take the time to truly reflect on what has recently happened, how we’ve reacted (either good or bad), take a deep breath, woosaw/woosah a little bit and then look forward to 2022 with even the littlest and tiniest shred of hope.
Keeping with the tradition of deciding on a word for the year and what goals/intentions I want to pursue, I have made my decisions earlier than usual. Usually I am scrambling because I feel so jumbled up and rushed. This 2021 Christmas season didn’t quite go as expected, but it had some really nice moments and I got to share it with my favorite person.
Without further adieu, here is 2022

Soooooooo, yes. I know it’s a big list. Some things are small, some things are simply taking small commitments everyday. Other things are just 1 day out of 28-31 days. I feel like the list is do-able over the course of the year and challenging enough without being overwhelming. Of course I’ll tweak things as needed. I’m still getting used to my new job (I’m back in Catering) so I didn’t want to quite set an EXACT time or deadline for everything. Reading 15 mins – 30 mins before bed along with having most weekends off will get my 3 books a month crossed off. Working & writing in my Passion Planner will keep me focused and visually on track. Taking photos once a month will give me a reason to scrapbook the next month.
I’m curious to see what your word(s) of the year are (who says you only have to pick one?!) as well as what your goals and intentions are for the next year. Let’s aim big, dream high, hope flow in abundance and as always,
Shine bright
