Hello everyone! First thing: We are safe from Hurricane Florence *whew*. Hurricanes can be scary things even with all of the protection of property, evacuations and storm radar/forecasting. Mid Week Gratitude Check In
Happy Thursday everyone! I’m a day late doing a mid week gratitude check in, but I just got back in town yesterday. With Hurricane Irma doing very weird things and also being a family member’s birthday, we ended up going out of town to evacuate just in case and also to celebrate a birthday. Literal Hurricane/birthday party haha. Lots of emotions this week, but I am grateful for this experience. I’m in a whirlwind of emotion… literally!
Hey everyone! I hope that you’ve all had a great week. This week has been pretty stressful for the Southeast coastal cities. I’m sure you’re already aware, but we have Hurricane Matthew out there and he’s making a big fuss. He’s already gone through Haiti and left devastation in a place that is still recovering from their earthquake a few years back and other back-to-back but less volatile storms this year. Hurricane Matthew (as of Thursday 11am) is a Category 4 storm with 140 mph winds. He is expected to hit Florida Friday Morning and Charleston Saturday Morning.
