#theimperfectboss is back!
Hello again everyone! I’ve never double posted in one day but I just HAVE to share something amazing and incredible. You might remember seeing #theimperfectboss back in May of this year. What an IMPRESSIVE and FREEING experience! May 2016 should have broke the internet! Being Healthy: How to be prepared for health and stay that way
To your health! If you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything. Take your medicine! Don’t forget your vitamins! Go natural/organic! We hear and see so much regarding our health. Understandably so as health is important as we need to have healthy bodies to keep up with our lives. You go try running a marathon with the flu. (Disclaimer: I am not speaking from experience. I hate running. If I’m running, you should be running with me as it means something is chasing me or I’m super late.) I’m not going to give any tips or tricks on how you should live your life in a health sense.…

Technology Lifesaver
Hey everyone, hope that you’re having a great start to your week already. I also hope that you have enjoyed the Preparedness series I’ve been working on lately. Life has been kinda interesting lately and therefore I’ve been pretty reflective on different aspects of daily life. In this edition, we’re gonna talk about being prepared for technology issues. What would you do if your computer died? I’m talking about sitting down, hitting the power button to turn it on and nothing. Nadda. Zip. Zilch. That would be incredibly frustrating and scary right? What about your phone, tablet or your camera? What if that happened as well?…

Happy Fall Y’all!
It’s the first day of Fall! How exciting is that?! It’s gonna be a great season, I can just feel it! I’m so so so so so so so excited (can you tell?) Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season. These are just some of my favorite things to enjoy about the season: The crispness of the air, the changing of bright colored flowers and trees to darker passionate red, shining gold and burnt orange leaves, the smell of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, doing some fall cleaning (or painting a room in the house), cooking and baking, Halloween and Thanksgiving, holiday decorating, cuddling up with my…

How to Not Freak Out with Money
Money, Money, Money. Say it 3 times and it’ll appear in 48 hours right? What about that money tree? If you’re anything like me and any other average person, the words: money, budget, finance, investment, taxes all probably stress you the hell out. Honestly, the way things are these days, it should come as no surprise. This however, then means it comes to us to make sure that WE are responsible for OUR money and OUR actions regarding money. Money is NOT a bad thing. It’s needed for daily stuff: water and electricity bills, gas for your car, the Starbucks coffee for your weekly friend date, actually going out on a…

How Well are You Prepared?
You’ve heard it a lot: “Be Prepared!” “Rather safe than sorry!” “Always think ahead!” It probably goes in one ear and out the other by now. It’s so overused in day-to-day life. However, as annoying as it may seem, it holds a great truth. Think of the fable where the ants are hoarding grain for the winter months while the grasshopper dismisses this need to be prepared. Boy was he surprised when the winter cold came. If you’ve never heard of this fable, read here: (http://www.bartleby.com/17/1/36.html) Even well managed organizations and military establishments constantly stress this. The Marines have a motto of “Adapt, Improvise and Overcome.” The Coast Guard…
